The Obama campaign style left behind an indelible impression after its initial launch in 2008. Using the background of solid red and dark blue the image of Barack Obama is stencilled on to it. With his face looking upwards, the portrait symbolises social realism and is accompanied by words like Hope, Progress and Change. The style was the brainchild of famous political pop artist Shepherd Fairey.
